I really have no where to begin with this blog. I have so much I could write about. I'll just write it all:) Im sitting on the roof of the house Im staying at while writing this and it's a beautiful view. If i get one more misquito bite though im gone.Ha. It is Wednesday and it is just insane to me how much time has flown by. From being here for 2 days and so homesick that I was ready to take the next flight out to it being one of the fastest expierence's I've had and breakin my heart to come home Monday. First off let me recap my weekend: Okay, I don't remember anything. ha. We went to the orphange a few times ha, AND oh, we got to see some awesome english speaking schools here and sit in on them. I believe it was saturday Natalie, Michelle and myself all went out with the english schools director guy and he needed to stop by sisters charity house to check on a school. Well Michelle had told me that this place also housed sick infants. We go inside and go straight to the baby rooms to see them all and my heart just aches. This is a large dark room with cribs stacked side by side with babies in them all day long just looking hopeless. I teared up as i touched every childs hand or face. Michelle called me over to a specific crib in the corner and pulled down the dress to a baby whose bones stuck out in every part of it's body and it's eyes were sunk in and in all honesty looked like a emaciated chihuahuah. I just wanted to weep. We found out that this baby was a boy but we couldn't even tell from looking at it and that it was def. malnoursished and in fact is HIV positive. He won't eat enough to go to the hospital to be properly treated for HIV please please continue to pray for that sweet baby. I will never forget his sweet face. I know God works miracles though and I don't doubt anything he does. So then Sunday we went to church. I have been blessed to visit a new church every week I have been here to expirence all different types. This past sunday we went to a traditional baptist creole speaking church, but they had a translator. Normally the churches are too hot inside so we sit outside and listen. Im sitting there and I see a little boy in front of me who I know who he is right off the bat. Marie the little baby we have taken in whose mother was trying to get rid of her and her father was a voodoo priest, little brother. I remember seeing him at the clinic the day we picked up Marie. He had his fingers in his mouth the whole time sulking and I tried to speak to him but got nothing. I seen him standing out at the church and all the little boys around him had dug out their "Sunday best" with suits and ties he was just dressed in a shirt and dirty pants. I kept wanting to just embrace him or talk to him or something but didn't know how. Until another little boy took a swing playfully and hit him on the forehead with his fist. I seen the little boy just break down and cry and I stood up and walked over and with out any thought just hugged on him and wiped his tears. He was totally awkward with me some white girl huggin up on him but I don't think he minded. I had small talk with him and then let him go to play with his friends and not even 20 minutes later he is cryin in the corner. I noticed he has a scar on the back of his head and one of the other boys had hit it and it began to open and bleed. I have no clue what this child deals with everyday with his parents but to see him weep and weep and be hurt absoultely kills me. We fixed him and cleaned him up and let him go again and as we left i seen him looking at us as we drove off from the church. It broke my heart. But today I seen him at the clinic with a bandage on his head and a smile on his face and it just makes me praise God that he still has joy no matter what. NOW I will try to venture off from the tear jerker drepressing stories. The team that is here from Knoxville is leaving tomorrow, so glad I was able to meet all of them. Poor Natalie has basically gotten every sickness since she has been here and has recently been bit by a spider that has ate at her flesh and today she had to get her wound drained which I just know she is in so much pain. So therefor she will be leaving here Friday and headin' back to the states to get taken care of. Please pray for her aswell. I only have a few days left but im going to miss her! Hmm, what else. I got in my very first wreck today! Just a fender bender crazy though! God is still working wonders in my heart and I cannot be more thankful. I leave out Monday morning and I know it's going to be hard on me. But im ready for some Krystal burgers so I think i'll be okay eventually:) Ha. Anywho. I hope everyone is doing well and that some of you find my blogs semi interesting.
See you all soon!

Whose burnt? Im burnt!
Well, It is crazy to think tomorrow is Friday and then after the weekend Monday starts my last week here in Haiti bittersweet for sure! Lately, things have been awesome the weather has been ballin'! And then today its of course a thousand degrees and I get burnt, but that's okay cause burn turns to tan so bronze goddess I will be, yes! HA! Joke. Anyways I am just loving this whole lovin' on babies deal! My whole mommy deal has now turned into more of an Aunt deal which is comepletely okay with me. God is giving me many many kids to love on! We got to meet the lady who is going to hopefully adopt Marie and she is wonderful. Please pray for her adoption process! There is a new team staying at the guest house here and they are wonderful aswell and from TN so even better:) We got up early today and we all took a bus to Thomazues. The team is building a house for a lady who lives in a very very very tiny house with 15 other people. She was found by Greg and Bobby a while back in an alley naked and in labor with her son baby Greg! Ha, we went and got to help with the kids today and see the process of the house it's awesome! We then got to drive up the mountain and check out the broken generator that helps send water through a spring deal which will hopefully be fixed very soon! We then just drove back to PAP in the back of the truck which I have missed and it makes me think of Pignon! If only my cheeks and arms weren't so red! Anyways, Im learning this trip that we have one life to love and life is short so I am praying that God allows me to always take leaps of faith and just trust in what he has in store! I am totally already planning where I want to go next but we know that isn't up to me! Haha. I love Haiti and I know I will def be back here sometime soon but I think when I get home God wants me to do missions right in the states for a while So if anyone knows of any cool volunteer ideas or serving ideas let me know. BUT I still def have my heart set on an Israel mission trip so whoever wants to plan one go ahead:) I know that God put missions in my heart for a reason so I can't wait to see where my next one is wether it be in Kingsport, TN or in the middle of no where country Im ready for it:)
Hope everyone reading this is doing great!

His love never fails.
So, today is halfway through my journey on this trip. I have two weeks left and just keeps getting better. I still miss home, my family, my boyfriend and everyone else. But man, God is doing incredible things! Today we were planning on a quiet day to go to the Apparent Project and then the clinic, However God had other plans. We were about to leave and Michelle got a call from their clinic. A baby girl named Marie was brought to the clinic by her mother. Marie's mother had been beaten by her husband who is a witch doctor and active in Voodoo. Marie was scheduled to be her fathers sacrafice for Voodoo. Her mom was shaken up and Marie was naked with a little brother by her side. The mom had tried to give Marie to people before but never did. She is a 7 month old baby who is chunky and as cute as can be. We ended up taking Marie and bringing her home with us. I had already said that whatever happened she could be my baby for the remainder of my trip. Im Kayla Marie and She is just Marie so it was meant to beeeeeee! haha. We have her home for about an hour and then the clinic calls saying her father is there looking for her and wants her back. My heart breaks. Knowing what her father was about and what actions he wanted to take with this baby girl was stomach turning. We had no choice but to take her back. But with much prayers and a absolutely amazing Savior with in another hour she was back at out house. Her father said he did not want her anymore and to do whatever. God works in unbelievable ways. She is beside me now asleep in a baby rocker and when she wakes up she is gettin' a bath! Pictures will soon be up! She is total gerber baby material! Such a blessing to have her here with us and me being able to love on her and help take care of her. Please continue to pray for her and her mother who has 2 other children. I am so blessed to be able to stay with a family here who is so willing to do Gods work and do what he calls. I will keep updates of how she is doing and how semi mommy life for me is! hahaha!

Oh, Misquitos.
I have been bitten by atleast 20,000 misquitos now. Im okay with that though. I'll just continue taking my flesh off! haha. Anyways today is my 10th day in Haiti. And today is the day of Hurricane Tomas and praise God that so far we have only gotten just a bit of rain. God is totally taking care of us. The past couple of days have been pretty laid back because of the hurricane. I have gotten the opportunity to bottle feed a baby on Haitian roads and it was a sucess:) haha. Seen some pretty crazy stuff that I never seen on previous trips and God is still showing me and allowing me to learn things daily. I fell in love with Haiti my first time and I don't think i will lose that love anytime soon. Im so excited to see what the next couple of weeks hold.
However just an insider on my down time I have sucessfully pierced a belly button and in less than an hour I will pierce another as well as a monroe. It'll be a new ministry. haha. I mean during free time i gotta stay occupied some how:) Thanks to the brave souls who are allowing me too. hah.
Other than that I really am being serious at times and diggin' into God's word and trying to be as humble as I can and follow whatever he asks of me. He is stretching me out of my comfort levels and that is completely okay with me.
Hope everything is great back home, enjoy the cold weather:)
Oh and I miss my Mom so very much!
Love ya mom! :)

First week:)
Well, I have officially been in Haiti for 8 days now. So far, It has been great!
First few days were hard, no doubt. But homesickness has worn off and I am in my element. First day we arrived in PAP around 3:30pm and we met up with Michelle and was taken to her house which is where im living now. It's awesome! Second day we drove out to Thomazues which is dry and outbeats hell in heat Im pretty sure. But it's great! The orphanage we stayed at is called Children of Hope & Hospice which is a great organIzation(I capatalized if Allison Robison or my family reads this!) with great people who love on the children and great cute as can be kids! We stayed 2 nights there and then came back to Port due to the Hurricane. I will be staying in Port the remainder of my trip but will visit the orphange and others too! The family im staying with is from TN which is awesome and so are they so it works out:) Hmm, Let's see: I saw my first dead body in Haiti in my eight days which was insane to say the least! We made over a hundred rehydration packets for anyone who has caught Cholera or might after the hurricane! I went to my first Haitian Halloween party which was all americans , actually. ha. I have roughly been eaten alive by misquitos. I had a bug fly up my nose in my sleep which cause a small heart attack i think. And many more amazing things happen in just a short time:) The family I am with has 2 kids of their own and are in the process of adopting a little boy and has a girl who lives with them and teaches english to a international school here. They also have a sweet little baby named Melissa who is 8 months old and weighs 8 pounds who was abandoned at there clinic. She has down syndrome and a heart defect and happens to be the cutest baby ever. She has many mommy's around here who love her and I got to meet the lady who is adopting her soon and will be her mommy and she is wonderful!
Everything is going great here so far! I love Haiti. I of course miss home though and everyone there and can't wait to see everyone. But until then I plan on doing whatever God calls me to do. Hope everyone is great see you in a few weeks:)
